Jeweled Pouch :: DIY

I have finally found a way to add some interest to this vintage python pouch I found some month ago: sewing on it a too-much-bling-bling-necklace-to-be-worn for me turning it into a fancy handle !
And it took me less than 10 minutes...
Here are the only step to follow to make your own jewelled pouch to go out this week-end:

You need:
A pouch in a neutral color and/or in a specific material (here python) as it will contrast and match perfectly with your impossible-to-miss necklace.
A neon and strass necklace (H&M, Zara, Forever 21, New Look, ...)
Some strong sewing thread, in a similar color of your pouch
A needle for leather
Pair of scissors

* Center your necklace on your pouch and cut the ends.
* Sew the ends starting from the external making sure to keep enough space between your necklace and the pouch to place and move your hand with ease.

* Tadam, your jeweled pouch is done !

As this pouch is itself a strong item play it cool with your outfit:
Pair it with a basic dress (try with neutral colors !) or with a simple boyfriend pair of jean + a white silk shirt + a pair of Converse shoes.

Forget about the jewels - less is more - and play with colors on your nails: purple, blue, green, silver, neon, neutral, ... have fun as long as you avoid vibrant pink and red !
